All of the eggs used in our breakfast menu and sauces are free range and plans are in place to use only Free Range Eggs across the entire menu by the end of 2008.
Free Range
We take great care to ensure that all of our free range eggs conform to the Lion Mark code of practice. Our suppliers are accredited by the nationally recognised Free Range Farm Assurance scheme.
Welfare
In 2006 and 2007 we received the "Good Business of the Year Award" from the British Free-Range Egg Producers’ Association, which recognises our commitment to free-range egg production in the UK.
Diet
All the eggs we use come from hens fed on a non-GM diet free from artificial colourants.

The free range eggs in the bagel are cooked on the hot grill and folded, using a liquid free range egg and milk mixture. The liquid egg is 80 percent free range egg and 20 percent milk.
McDonald's Hash Browns are cooked in dedicated frying vats in a new non-hydrogenated blend of sunflower and rapeseed oil which is suitable for vegetarians. The new oil has been developed without raising the saturated fat content or altering the taste.
