SUPPLEMENTAL RULES FOR THIRD PARTY PROMOTIONS FEATURING FOOTBALL-THEMED PRIZES SUPPLIED BY McDONALD'S APPLICATION OF SUPPLEMENTAL RULESThese supplemental promotional rules ("General Rules") apply to any prize promotion which is promoted by a media partner or other person ("Promoter") in association with McDonald's Restaurants Limited ("McDonald's") whereby McDonald's sponsors the promotion by providing a prize or prizes and where the conditions of entry for that promotion incorporate by reference these General Rules (each a "Promotion"). Nothing in these General Rules shall imply that McDonald's is a promoter or co-promoter of any Promotion by reason of such association. By participating in a Promotion, each entrant agrees to be bound by the "Rules" which expression shall include the General Rules and any terms and conditions and other regulations publicised by the Promoter as applying to that Promotion (defined for the purposes of these General Rules alone as the "Promoter's Rules" and which shall prevail in the event of conflict with these General Rules). To the extent McDonald's deems it appropriate, McDonald's shall be entitled to treat any of its rights under the Rules as having been granted for the benefit of McDonald's and one or more of agencies and commercial partners (including without limit the Football Association Limited, the Scottish Football Association Limited, FAW Football in the Community Limited/The Football Association of Wales Limited and the Irish Football Association Limited). SUPPLEMENTAL RULES FOR PROMOTIONS Participation at the time of entry or such other time as may be stated in the Promoter's Rules between any minimum and maximum ages as stated in the Promoter's Rules or (in the absence of such statement) 18 or over (provided that if entry is permitted by the Promoter for anyone under 18 then it shall be a pre-condition of entry that the entrant's parent/guardian certifies that (1) he/she is the parent/guardian of the entrant named on the application form (2) he/she authorises the entrant to enter the Promotion and if successful to attend any events, if applicable (3) he/she, or another responsible adult who has been approved in advance by McDonald's, undertakes to accompany the entrant to attend any event, if applicable and (4) he/she and the entrant will comply with the Rules), UK resident or (in the case of Player Escort Programme prize-places) resident in the Home Nation of the relevant match-venue, and compliant with any other eligibility requirements in the Promoter's Rules. Duration How To Enter Questions: Submissions: a photograph taken by the entrant (and in the absence of any Promoter's Rules stating otherwise, it shall be no larger than 5" x 7" if a paper print or 500 KB if a digital file and shall be submitted as a digital jpeg file without any digital manipulation e.g. using photoshop), and/or a typed or written work (which, if to be written and in the absence of any Promoter's Rules stating otherwise, shall be hand written in the entrant's own words). The wording must be kept within any designated area or word limits described in the Promoter's Rules, failing which any misplaced or excess wording will be disregarded. Permitted methods of entry which may be stated in the Promoter's Rules may include any or all of the following methods, in which event the following provisions shall apply (to the extent not inconsistent with the Promoter's Rules, namely: Entry via an Online Entry Form on the Promoter's website: Entrants must (i) comply with the Entry Criteria, and (ii) complete the online entry form and submit it in accordance with the instructions provided on the form. Entry Using a Form Printed From the Promoter's website or created by the Entrant: Entrants must (i) print the form from the Promoter's website or follow any Promoter's Rules giving direction as to the size and composition of the form (as appropriate) and should not write or print outside of any spaces or dimensions indicated as available for the purpose, (ii) comply with the Entry Criteria, (iii) ensure the form is signed by the entrant and (if appropriate) the entrant's parent/guardian, and (iv) post the form enclosing the entry form in a properly stamped (-franking is not acceptable-) handwritten envelope addressed as directed in the Promoter's Rules. Entry by Email: Entrants must (i) comply with the Entry Criteria, (ii) send the email containing the required information and the entrant's name and contact details to the email address provided in the Promoter's Rules. Entry by Telephone: Entrants must (i) comply with the Entry Criteria, (ii) telephone the phone number stated in the Promoter's Rules and follow the instructions and provide all information requested. (Unless otherwise stated in the Promoter's Rules) all entry/claims/redemption phone-lines numbers are charged at no more than your normal operator tariff (except for '087' and '084' numbers which have a rate per minute not exceeding 5p when called from a normal BT landline - this rate may vary for other network operators). Phone-lines are open only during working hours, unless otherwise stated. For Entry by Sending an SMS: Entrants must (i) comply with the Entry Criteria, (ii) have access to a UK mobile phone, (iii) send your name and contact details in a SMS message (together with any answer to any questions, where applicable) to the number indicated. SMS messages will be charged at your normal operator tariff (unless otherwise stated in the Promoter's Rules). If using a computer, telephone/mobile phone and/or internet-access which is not owned by the entrant, the entrant is reminded please to get the owner's permission before entering. All valid entries received which have fully complied with any conditions set out in the Promoter's Rules including (for Promotions which have more than one stage) answering a question or questions correctly or other activity for an initial stage, will be collected together for: Draws: Competitions: The details of judges shall be available by submitting a written request with a stamped self-addressed envelope marked with the name of the Competition and the word "Judges". Neither the Promoter nor McDonald's shall be obliged to contact any unsuccessful entrant. As well as details of names and counties, each entrant agrees that McDonald's may publicise statements made by or attributed to any entrant relating to McDonald's in connection with a prize, together with the entrant's likeness and background, unless otherwise requested (and on the understanding that such a request may not be made if the Rules stipulate that the provision of a publicity-consent form is a condition of entry). For any Promotion featuring one of the types of prize listed below, the provisions set opposite shall apply: Match Tickets for the FA Community Shield Match and England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland Senior Men's Team International Home Games Each prize will comprise either a pair of tickets or a set of four family tickets, as stipulated in the Rules. Each prize comprises a place on McDonald's Player Escort Programme comprising the right to accompany a player in the team for player (both of which are solely determined by McDonald's) at the match identified for that Promotion (and the date and venue for each match are as described in the Rules but are subject to change. compliance with the terms and conditions for tickets and stadia as stated in the section for Match Ticket prizes above, the parent or guardian of each prospective player escort accompanying that child, and the receipt by McDonald's of the properly completed, designated, liability release form(s) (prepared by McDonald's and releasing, wherever permitted by law, McDonald's and the relevant football association, their related companies, franchisees and agencies concerned with conducting this Promotion and their respective employees, officers and agents from responsibility or liability for claims from the player escort or the parent/guardian in respect of the prize) and certification form (which will include undertakings that the person is the parent/guardian of the player escort, that they have complied with the Rules and they will accompany the player escort) by the time stipulated in the Rules or (if none) by no later than 14 days after the date upon which notification of the award is first sent on behalf of the Promoter/McDonald's (failing which the prize claim will be void and the prize may be made available by McDonald's to the Promoter for re-award (provided that this shall be at the sole discretion of McDoanld's).

(if applicable to the trip) notification from McDonald's by letter of the prize claim including whether McDonald's needs to make further contact to obtain further details (in which event it is the responsibility of the winner's certifying parent/legal guardian to make him or herself available for such further contact and to ensure that such outstanding details are finalised within any further time limits as McDonald's stipulates), and the relevant (i) liability release form (prepared by McDonald's releasing, wherever permitted by law, McDonald's, its related companies, franchisees and agencies concerned with conducting this Promotion and their respective employees, officers and agents from responsibility or liability for claims in respect of the prize) for the winner and certifying parent/guardian (together with each other companion permitted to take the trip as part of the prize package, if any) (ii) certification form and/or (iii) publicity-consent form all of which must be properly completed and returned to McDonald's at the address and within the time as directed at the time of notification, failing which the prize will be withheld and that winner's entry and prize claim will become void. RESPONSIBILITY To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law (but not otherwise) McDonald's and its agents and/or commercial partners assume no responsibility and are not liable for:- (i) the accuracy or otherwise of any prize description or illustration, (ii) (where applicable) the non-availability, loss, late receipt or damage of any text, prize-claim, prize or notification or other communication and whether by reason of mobile-telephone network-operator error or other problem, failed or corrupted transmission, handset failure (including full or unserviceable inbox) or otherwise, (iii) (other than those warranties or conditions implied by statute and which cannot be excluded) any representation, warranty, condition or guarantee in respect of a prize (iv) (where applicable) any person whose mobile phone is used to text-in an entry without the owner's permission, or (v) any taxes, fees, charges or other costs which winners may be required to pay at any time in connection with a prize, (save to the extent that the Promoter or McDonald's has expressly and specifically accepted responsibility in the Rules for the same). All prizes sourced by McDonald's from other suppliers remain the property of those suppliers pending delivery to winners. MCDONALD'S RIGHTS McDonald's may (i) extend any time limit or waive any of the General Rules where a person might otherwise have been disqualified (without obliging McDonald's to relax the General Rules on any further occasion for that entrant or at all for any other person), (ii) terminate, extend or suspend the Promotion at any time where this is necessary or desirable due to supervening circumstances beyond McDonald's control, and (iii) substitute a product deemed to be an appropriate replacement and of equal or greater value in the place of any of the prizes (or any part of a prize to the extent divisible). McDonald's decision in the exercise or interpretation of any of its rights or discretions in connection with these General Rules shall be final and binding. PRIVACY POLICY In administering this Promotion, the Promoter and McDonald's may collect personal information from any entrant and, unless it has first obtained the entrant's consent, the Promoter and/or McDonald's (i) will not collect more of the entrant's personal information than needed for the purpose of administering and analysing this Promotion (including carrying out security checks as stated) and for posting features on its Site which are informed by one or more entry-submissions, (ii) will only use the entrant's personal information for those purposes (and such use may include transferring the entrant's personal information to McDonald's respective associates and to any applicable sporting body for the purposes of security and monitoring, and (iii) will not transfer the entrant's personal information outside the European Economic Area unless it is permitted to do so under the Data Protection Act 1998. As it is impracticable for the Promoter and/ or McDonald's to verify with any certainty the age of those who enter a promotion or subscribe to an offer via SMS, web-form, email or telephone, the Promoter urges parents to regularly monitor and supervise their children's mobile phone/computer/telephone activities.
